Plum Divine!

This a quick review/FOTD (Face of the Day) for the Estee Lauder Pure Color Gloss in Plum Divine. This is a color released with their fall collection Blue Dahlia by Tom Pecheux (I got a couple other products from this collection which I'll showcase later). For women of color this is a gorgeous everyday fall neutral. If you like berries but aren't too keen on rocking them because they may be a little over the top then this color is definitely worth a glance. Fair skinned ladies will find this more dramatic but not so dramatic it can't be worn in the daytime or only at night. It will be a gorgeous berry lip on anyone!

First of let me just say how much I love this formulation! The color is rich, smells wonderful (although this is up to personal choice) and has a slighty tacky feel. I applied multiple layers from the tube (it has a doe foot/sponge tip applicatior) but if you want more impact without applying layer after layer use a disposable lipbrush so you can get right down into the tube. I also recommend using a colorless lip pencil to prevent bleeding and feathering. My faves would be Mally Beauty Lip Fence and DuWop Reverse Lipliner. Estee's Pure Color glosses are fabulous and they have a great color range! Pricing for these is $20.
